12th Painting
The Three Musketeas
8x10 Oil on c/b
$75 US
This painting took a longer time than I thought it would take. Didn't get to bed until 1:00 am last night washing out brushes. Wasn't happy with it then, but the morning light perked me up and I was able to find the look I was going for at last. Whew! So much for trying to get a painting ahead. Back to the easel.
This is so pretty, Marjorie! It is a stand out on the challenge page. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your encouragement Darla, I almost pulled my hair out on this one. I am seeing how hopefully more painting means better painting :) It is a thrill to get your comment!
DeleteIt was worth the time you took because it turned out very polished.
ReplyDeleteThank you A.K. This daily challenge has forced me to stop my work sooner instead of my usual "tweaking" it until it is overworked.
DeleteBeautiful work!
ReplyDeleteThank you Pamela. I am trying very hard to "get looser" as the saying goes :)
DeleteI love this still life painting, great teapots, colours and striped cloth...lovely!
