THE THREE MUSKETEAS

12th Painting

The Three Musketeas
8x10 Oil on c/b
$75 US

This painting took a longer time than I thought it would take. Didn't get to bed until 1:00 am last night washing out brushes. Wasn't happy with it then, but the morning light perked me up and I was able to  find the look I was going for at last. Whew! So much for trying to get a painting ahead. Back to the easel.

    1. Thank you for your encouragement Darla, I almost pulled my hair out on this one. I am seeing how hopefully more painting means better painting :) It is a thrill to get your comment!

  2. It was worth the time you took because it turned out very polished.

    1. Thank you A.K. This daily challenge has forced me to stop my work sooner instead of my usual "tweaking" it until it is overworked.

    1. Thank you Pamela. I am trying very hard to "get looser" as the saying goes :)
